Wales scraping GCSE?

Significant cuts need to be made on the number of courses on offer said the former principal heading. Welsh government also wants to simplify the system; their asking their self the question of should GCSE should be replaces by NEW qualification.

This new review was stated on Thursday to replace what is happening in England. The government wants to have a better way on accessing people on their English and math’s skills. Most employers told the assessment panel that they only thought A to C was the pass park and that the mark that should you had the ability.

Iestyn Davies, from the Federation of Small Businesses in Wales, said he supported the review.

“What we need to do is get the core skills right, the basic skills right, and make sure we have rounded individuals in schools.”
